50 acres of Riverfront Property
Breathtaking waterfront acreage along the middle fork of the Payette River. This amazing riverfront property has several natural springs and different building sites and river views and mountain views galore. It is located about 2 miles off of Hwy 17 on Middlefork Road in beautiful Garden Valley, Idaho. This recreation property would be a wonderful site for an individual Ranch or divided into muti user vacation properties with breathtaking mountain and river views.
As I walk this property I see a wonderful spot for a lake with 3-4 cabin building sites that could overlook the lake and the Middlefork River. This land is currently being used as a ranch, the grass is rich and the land is flat and usable. There is plenty of room for cattle and horses and the pasture land is well established. There are many trees scattered throughout the property, and lots of river frontage.
There is a road that traverses the property and makes experiencing this magnificent, riverfront, and recreational property very easy. Power and telephone are on the property. There are two sources of water rights for the property and irrigation lines are already installed.
The views are everywhere on this property! There are mountain views and river views and long distance views of the Middlefork Valley. Any home or cabin built on this property will have amazing views out of every window of the home. The property has easy access to the river and even an island in the middle of the Middlefork River that will make a divine play spot. The wildlife is thick on this property and nightly you will see lots of Deer and Elk heading to and from the river.
In this area of Garden Valley you are close to miles and miles of hiking, four wheeling and snowmobile trails. The Boise National Forest is a short distance away. There are many natural hot springs within a few minutes drive of the property. The Middlefork River is right out your back door. The Southfork of the Payette River is two miles away and offers kayaking and rafting for all levels and experience. The Payette River is world renowned for its white water and attracts people from across the world to experiencing its majestic whitewater. It offers everything from family float trips to the extreme 10 mile section of Class 5 Whitewater of the North Fork.
Terrace Lakes Resort and Golf Club is a few short miles away and has much to offer. It is an 18 hole golf course, with a geothermal swimming pool and tennis courts. In the winter months the Gold course is transformed and groomed into a cross-country ski trail. There is a large hill that they groom for sledding. One of my favorite ways to spend a day it to take the kids to the sled hill and sled till we are frozen. After that we change into swimming suits and dive into the geothermal pool to warm up. To put the perfect end to the day we stop into the restaurant in the clubhouse and have a fantastic dinner by one of the many windows that over look the gold course and the panoramic setting that is all Terrace Lakes Resort.
Southfork Landing is another area of Garden Valley that has unique recreational activities. There is currently a tubing hill with a towrope to pull you to the top of the hill. There are 6 lanes for tubing that offers you everything from a mild ride to a crazy and extreme tubing adventure. The tubing hill is very popular so be sure to make reservations in advance with Idaho X-Sports. Southfork Landing and its vendors are also in the process of installing a white water park. Plum Jack resorts will be building a resort, spa and fine dining restaurants.
If you go further out the Middle fork Road into the Boise National Forest you can spend a day at Silvercreek Plunge Family Resort with its year round hot springs pool. This is a fantastic day trip either in your car or on a 4–wheeler. Bring your lunch and stop at one of many camping and picnic areas along the Middlefork River or avoid the fuss and let them cook you a great big juicy hamburger with all the works poolside.
When it comes to amazing river front properties this one is at the top of the list and truly must be experienced. I invite you to come to Garden Valley and let me take you on a tour of this breathtaking acreage along the banks of the Middle fork River.
